Socrates meets Milan Mes
DJ Socrates made a name for himself mixing spicy dancefloor sets at global music festivals, playing back-to-back sets with respected colleagues. After 15 years Socrates noticed many of his colleagues were hanging up the gloves. Continuing as a lone wolf things came to a sudden halt in the dark days of Covid. He found refuge in Indonesian martial arts, training in parks with a small but dedicated group of unemployed artists, exploring their inner warrior. Here he met trumpet virtuoso Milan Mes & they clicked instantly.
Soon enough they were sparring not just in the park but also musically on the stage. Seven years later their sound has matured into an exciting blend of irresistible dance grooves & live trumpet. They slowly build the fire, deepening the trance, creating a trippy odyssey. Teasing their dancers playfully with slow rave, exploding in energy uptempo grooves only when the time’s truly ripe. Like the sun bursting through the dark clouds, mesmerizing and orgasmic.
